Around 1993, while living with my parents in Oman, I learned how to dial the phone and order my favorite Pizza, the super-supreme, from Pizza Hut.
One day, I got my pizza along with a promotional VHS of the blockbuster film; Jurassic Park. It was during the iconic Velociraptor kitchen scene that I fell in love with movies.

I step into the famous Dubai Media Inc. building, in Oud Metha, Dubai, to start my journey in the world of storytelling.

I kickstarted my career in the Creative Department as a Promo Producer and eventually becoming a Senior Promo Producer. During that time, I wrote, produced, directed, and edited promo campaigns and promos for channels like Dubai Sports, Dubai TV, and Dubai Racing. My work earned multiple Promax BDA Awards. This role was a significant step in my career, it has prepared me to work across a wide range of genres. There, I honed my scriptwriting and copywriting skills and there, I truly understood what Mr. Hitchcock meant when he famously said, “To make a great film, you need three things – the script, the script, and the script.”
“2012”
As my love for Film and TV-both scripted and unscripted-grew, I felt I am ready for the next chapter of my career, as an independent Film and TV Director. From then and for about 13 years now, I have embarked on telling stories visually in long form and short form too. I have directed TV shows that run on OSN+ Platform and aired on Abu Dhabi TV and Baynounah TV. I have directed TV Commercials for many international and regional brands, such as Snickers, Mountain Dew, Google, ADIB, Dubai Airports, Water Wipes MG, Goody, Lifebuoy, and MG.
My work has been featured in Communicate Magazine’s “Most Shared Ad in 2015” list and in Campaign magazine, as well as being shortlisted at the Dubai Lynx and the Effies, and recently winning "Best Direction" in 2024 Promax Asia.
